The function of literature citation
1. References are an important part of scientific papers. It can not only provide strong arguments for the author's argument, but also refine the text to save space and increase the information content of the paper, which has high information value.
2. The author should refer to and use a large number of scientific documents in the process of topic selection, experimental research, summary and writing. Because it is impossible for the author to retell all the cited predecessors' achievements in detail when writing the paper, he can only indicate the source of the main cited documents at the end of the paper.
3. References indicate the sources of cited theories, viewpoints, methods and data, and reflect the real scientific basis of the paper. Scientific papers without references should be regarded as the author's neglect of the inheritance of scientific work, and also reflect the author's lack of scientific style of study and attitude.
