Can the business license address be my own home?

The business license address can be your own home.

Just submit a copy or original of the property ownership certificate to the relevant department. Industrial and commercial enterprises or self-employed individuals without a business license are not allowed to open their business. They are not allowed to engrave official seals, sign contracts, register trademarks, or publish advertisements. They are not allowed to open bank accounts.

The original and duplicate copies of the business license have the same legal effect and there is no difference in substance. If we talk about the difference, it is just the appearance. In terms of use, the original copy "must be hung" in a conspicuous place on the business premises, otherwise you may be penalized for not hanging the license. Copies are generally used when going out to handle business, such as bank account opening licenses, corporate organization code certificates, tax registration certificates, signing contracts, etc.

The process for a company to apply for a business license is as follows:

1. After determining the company type, name, registered capital, shareholders and capital contribution ratio, you can go to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to submit your name for verification on-site or online Application;

2. After passing the verification, confirm the address information, executive information, business scope, and submit the pre-application online. After passing the online pre-examination, go to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to submit application materials according to the scheduled time;

3. Bring the notice of approval for establishment registration and the original ID card of the person in charge, and go to the Industrial and Commercial Bureau to get the original and duplicate of the business license.

After receiving the business license, you cannot start business immediately. You must also handle the following matters:

1. Seal engraving and other matters. With your business license, go to the seal engraving point designated by the Public Security Bureau to apply for the company's official seal, financial seal, contract seal, legal representative seal, and invoice seal;

2. Apply for a basic bank account. After the company registration is completed, you need to open a basic bank account. The basic account is the main account for the company's capital transactions. The daily collection and payment of funds for business activities, as well as the withdrawal of wages, bonuses and cash can all be handled through this account. Each company can only open one basic account;

3. Accounting and tax filing. After completing the company registration, you must first complete the tax registration. When reporting, you must provide the information of an accountant (including name, ID number, and contact number). Starting one month after the company is established, an accountant is required to keep accounts and declare taxes to the tax authorities every month.
