Electrical engineering theory and new technology specialty

This subject is based on electrical theory. It belongs to a new interdisciplinary subject, which closely intersects with applied electronic technology, automatic control, intelligent detection, environmental engineering and other disciplines, and takes the new development of various information processing technologies and applied electronic technologies as the main research direction. The courses offered reflect the current development level of electrical technology and information processing. The research topic not only reflects the academic frontier of network theory, information processing and applied electronic technology research, but also mostly combines the key technologies that need to be solved urgently in the development of national economy. The goal is to cultivate students with a solid theoretical foundation, broad vision and scientific thinking ability, as well as the skills to carry out academic research and application development, so that students have a wide range of adaptability in emerging technology fields. In the past five years, the discipline has undertaken more than 30 high-level fund projects such as major special projects of the National 863 Program, frontier exploration projects of the 863 Program, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, doctoral program fund of the Ministry of Education, research start-up fund for returned overseas students, and national postdoctoral science fund.
