Professor Yang Heping graduated from Central South Forestry College on July 1982, and stayed as a teacher. 1984 ——1986 studied in the department of civil engineering of Hunan university, majoring in roads and bridges,1988 65438+graduated from Central South Forestry College in February with a master's degree in engineering. 1990 1 month transferred to the Road Teaching and Research Section of Road and Bridge Department of Changsha Jiaotong University, engaged in teaching and scientific research for 27 years. 1995 was promoted to associate professor and professor in 2000. For many years, Professor Yang Heping has been doing research in the field of road engineering, and began to study the stability of slopes during his master's degree. Since 1993, I have been mainly engaged in special soil subgrade work such as highway expansive soil, and accumulated rich knowledge and experience. 1995, Guangxi presided over the project "Study on Stability of Expansive Soil Subgrade", systematically analyzed and summarized the diseases and causes of expansive soil subgrade for the first time, and put forward various prevention and reinforcement measures in combination with engineering practice. 1997 successfully built the first section of geogrid reinforced moderately strong expansive soil embankment on Chu-Da Expressway in Yunnan, put forward the slope stability analysis and reinforcement design method of expansive soil embankment, initially obtained a series of technologies such as reinforcement mechanism, reinforcement design theory and method, construction technology and method, and provided a brand-new method for highway embankment construction in expansive soil area. From July 2002 to June 5438+February 2007, as the technical director, he organized and completed the major scientific and technological project of western traffic construction of the Ministry of Communications, "Research on complete sets of technologies for highway construction in expansive soil areas", and made a series of innovations and breakthroughs in the treatment theory, design method and engineering construction technology of expansive soil subgrade, and obtained 2 national invention patents and 6 new and practical patents. Flexible support technology has successfully solved the technical problems of repeated treatment and collapse of expansive soil cutting slope; The improved CBR test method, filler classification index system and physical treatment technology of expansive soil directly filling embankment can fundamentally eliminate soil erosion and ecological environment damage caused by road spoil replacement in expansive soil area, and produce good engineering, economic, social and environmental benefits; Therefore, the treatment technology of expansive soil engineering in China has reached the international leading level.

Professor Yang Heping also undertook heavy teaching work, teaching subgrade and pavement engineering, modern soil mechanics principles, subgrade design principles, professional English, special soil subgrade, highway supporting structure design, highway engineering cost supervision, introduction to civil engineering and other courses. In recent years, the average annual teaching workload has exceeded 500 hours. Won the second prize of provincial teaching achievement once.
