Scientific research in the School of Mathematics and Information Technology of Hebei Normal University

After years of construction and development, basic research has made great progress. 147 published papers were included in SCI, 11 academic monographs (translations) were published by World Scientific, Springer and Science Press, and 4 patents were obtained. Breakthrough progress has also been made in applied research. Using wavelet analysis and cosine transform, we successfully developed a "3G-based mobile video adaptive system", which was funded by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and obtained a national patent to enter the market promotion stage. The "Digital Beidaihe" built using this technology makes Beidaihe the first city in China to have a 360-degree panoramic video service system used in the tourism industry. The "Hebei Provincial Population and Family Planning Information System" developed for the Hebei Provincial Population and Family Planning Commission has built a population digital model and public service platform in multiple dimensions such as population, region, economy, resources, and environment. The country took the lead in establishing a provincial population macro-management and decision-making information system and a population multi-dimensional auxiliary decision-making system, which were highly praised by the National Population and Family Planning Commission and promoted nationwide.

The discipline of mathematics has formed several influential research directions nationwide and even internationally, such as: algebra and algebraic combination, algebraic topology and differential topology, differential dynamical systems, operator approximation and complex analysis , combinatorial design and combinatorial geometry, operator algebra, quantum computing and intelligent computing, modern mathematics history, etc. These directions have not only achieved excellent research results, but also formed a reasonable research echelon, which is and will continue to support the development of the school. . In the direction of algebra and algebraic combination, with the support and help of Academician Wan Zhexian and the leadership of Professor Wang Yangxian, an excellent research team has been formed. In the Lie group and Lie algebra and the research on combination schemes that began in the 1990s, He has achieved outstanding results in research work, published the monograph "Matrix Combination Scheme", won the first prize of Hebei Province Science and Technology Progress Award, and hosted a number of National Natural Science Foundations. It has trained outstanding talents such as Professor Zhao Kaiming, winner of the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In terms of research combining algebra and ring theory, the research team represented by Professor Zhu Yuansen has obtained a number of influential research results in the country. It hosted the "International Academic Conference on Rings and Root Theory" and the "Mathematical Dictionary". The compilation of the second volume has had a good impact both at home and abroad. Algebraic topology and differential topology are one of the main research directions in mathematics. The topology research team with Professor Wu Zhende as the founder and leader has achieved fruitful research results in this direction since the 1950s. More than 80 papers have been published in high-level academic journals, some of which are in leading positions internationally and have received widespread attention from peers. The team has received multiple grants from the National Natural Science Foundation and three provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological achievement awards. The differential dynamical systems research team was founded in the late 1970s. Under the leadership of Professor Chen Zaoping and Professor He Lianfa, a series of important and unique research results have been made around the core research issues in dynamical system theory. It has won wide acclaim from domestic and foreign power systems academic circles. It has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation for many times, and its research results have won the Hebei Science and Technology Progress Award three times. The team has also been praised by peers as an important base for domestic power system research and talent training. It is the winner of the National "Outstanding Youth Science Fund" of Peking University. Professor Liu Peidong is an outstanding representative, and Professor Zhu Yujun, a young teacher of the team, was selected into the "Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talent Support Program". The team successfully held the national "2012 Academic Conference on Power Systems and Related Topics". The combinatorial design and combinatorial geometry research team was formed in the 1980s. It was developed after Professor Kang Qingde and Professor Ding Ren returned from studying abroad. It is one of the earliest scientific research teams engaged in research in this field in my country and has now formed an outstanding team. The research team has taken a leading position in research on combinatorial theory at home and abroad. For more than thirty years, the team has carried out a series of pioneering work in the fields of large and super large sets of block design, large and super large sets of graphic design, and has obtained many internationally acclaimed research results; in paving Outstanding achievements have been made in the research on issues such as partitioning and triangulation, and the research results have been published in authoritative international academic journals and important domestic journals. Since 1991, the team has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has won one Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education and four Hebei Province Science and Technology Progress Awards.

The team has also cultivated a large number of outstanding research talents in combinatorial theory, such as Professor Chang Yanxun, Professor Lei Jianguo, Professor Yuan Liping, etc. Operator approximation and complex analysis are important branches in function theory. Professor Guo Shunsheng and Professor Huang Sha are the earliest domestic scholars engaged in research in this field. Since the 1980s, the team has used probabilistic methods to solve the problem of operator approximation of bounded variograms, and has achieved groundbreaking results. After that, the unified smooth module was used to completely and systematically characterize the equivalence theorem of operator approximation and the approximation of quasi-interpolation operators, which filled the relevant research gaps in the world. Certain breakthroughs have been made in research on complex equation function theory and boundary value problems, the incommutability of Clifford numbers, harmonic analysis on typical groups, and the properties of holomorphic functions on manifolds corresponding to non-Euclidean metrics. The team has successively won the Hebei He has won 2 Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, hosted several National Natural Science Foundation projects, and published a monograph in Springer Publishing House. The operator theory and operator algebra research team led by Professor Jiang Chunlan, the "Yanzhao Scholar" of Hebei Province, has introduced complex geometry, K-groups and index theory in the past ten years, and has made great achievements in operator theory and operator algebra classification. A series of internationally influential research results have been published, and relevant papers have been published in the top international magazines "Inventiones Mathematicae" and "Advances in Mathematics". The corresponding research results have won one second-class award from the National Ministry of Education, one first-class Hebei Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Award, and one first-class Hebei Provincial Natural Science Award. Received National Natural Science Key Fund, Distinguished Youth Fund Category B, and multiple National Natural Science Foundation grants. The doctoral thesis of the doctoral student Ji Kui was awarded the National Excellent Doctoral Thesis in 2010. The team also successfully held the International Congress of Mathematicians "Satellite Conference on Operator Algebra and Applications" and multiple international academic conferences. In addition, the college has also achieved good results in research areas such as applied probability and actuarial mathematics, artificial intelligence, subject teaching theory, computer-aided design and graphics and image processing, intelligent instrument and virtual instrument research, cryptography and network security, and computer networks. , has been highly praised by domestic and foreign peers.
