4. Engine power

The new F900R is equipped with a new parallel twin-cylinder engine, and the displacement is increased to 895cc. The output horsepower and torque are further improved. The maximum horsepower of 105hp can be output at 8500 rpm, and sufficient torque of 92Nm can be provided at 6500 rpm. The engine adopts crankshaft double reverse balance shaft, which effectively reduces engine vibration!

The clutch tension of both cars is very light, among which MT09 is equipped with sliding clutch and two-way quick release, and the configuration of F900R is not clear for the time being. 5. Electronic control configuration

Electronic control is a traditional advantage project of BMW motorcycles, but MT09 is also sincere and fully sufficient. The new F900R is equipped with rider mode Pro? ABS Pro advanced braking system, DTC tracking control system, ASC body dynamic stability system, MSR engine braking control system, LED light group and TFT full-color instrument. MT09' s shock absorber sacrificed some of its mobility for comfort. As long as you don't plan to run the track in depth, you are still very competent under most highway conditions. The F900R wants to change the driving experience with shock absorbers, only by installing electronic shock absorbers. ESA electronic rear shock absorber can be installed, and the rear suspension settings can be quickly adjusted by the switch on the handlebar.

7. Brake system

The front brake part of F900R streetcar is equipped with double 320mm radial four-piston calipers with Brembo and ABS brake system, and the rear brake part is equipped with 265mm single-disc one-way single-piston calipers with Brembo.

Yamaha MT-09 is equipped with dual radial mounted 4-piston brake calipers and 298mm disc brake discs. The axial brake master cylinder has a good hand feel and full braking force, and can be used for sports riding. Yamaha did save some money by using rubber brake lines instead of steel wire weaving brake lines.
