Young's crochet, a new acupuncture tool, won two national patents.

In Zhejiang, Yang Meiliang, a famous Chinese medicine practitioner, researched and invented a new acupuncture tool-Yang Hook Needle, which has won two national patents. Young's crochet is faster and more effective than traditional acupuncture tools in treating human tendon and tissue diseases.

Acupuncture is a unique means and method to treat diseases in China, which originated in Qin and Han Dynasties. Young's crochet needle, like filiform needle commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine, is also an acupuncture tool. But compared with the filiform needle, its shape is very different. "Young's crochet needle is much thicker than the commonly used acupuncture filiform needle, and it has certain toughness and hardness, which is more convenient for users to peel off the adhesion part." Yang Wei, the daughter of Yang Meiliang, the inventor of Yang's crochet, and the deputy director of the acupuncture department of Zhejiang Tongde Hospital, said when showing Yang's crochet, "Conventional acupuncture tools can't play the role of peeling and massage."

The reporter saw that the Yang crochet, known as the "spinning needle", has a tough surface on one side and a smooth blunt surface on the other. The tough surface is used for peeling and cutting, and the blunt surface is used for massaging and shaking the affected area.

According to reports, Yang's hook has a good therapeutic effect on tennis elbow, scapulohumeral periarthritis, tendon sheath ligament injury, knee joint collateral ligament injury and migraine.

Today, crochet has been widely used in Beijing, Northeast China, Hunan, Hubei and other places.
