Who is the CEO of Netac?

Deng Guoshun

The inventor of the world's first USB flash drive.

Deng Guoshun 65438-0967 was born in a poor peasant family in Shimen County. Since he was sensible, he knew that studying hard was the only way to change his destiny. Therefore, he has never given up since he was a child.

65438-0985, Deng Guoshun was admitted to Sun Yat-sen University to study computer application software. After graduating from college, the famous Wanbao refrigerator factory hired him. Just when other students envied him, he gave up the job and went to the Chinese Academy of Sciences to study for a master's degree.

65438-0993, Deng Guoshun came to Singapore after graduating with a master's degree, worked in three software companies successively, and then worked in the Asia-Pacific headquarters of Philips, a world-famous enterprise. While working abroad, he learned about the operation and process of the enterprise in detail. He felt that this knowledge would definitely come in handy in the future.

During several business trips on 1998, Deng Guoshun found that the floppy disk he carried with him was accidentally damaged, which made the stored data unreadable. He was thinking, is there a brand-new product that can replace floppy disks?

1999 It was a very accidental opportunity that he met John Cheng, a native of Hunan, in Singapore. The two hit it off and talked about a topic of common interest: the whole machine is constantly upgrading from the main version, CPU to mouse and keyboard, but the floppy drive has been stubborn for many years and has always been a standard configuration. Can you abandon the floppy drive and make a small, stable, mobile storage with a capacity many times larger than that of ordinary floppy disks? They are excited about the idea! After 32-year-old Deng Guo returned from Singapore, John Cheng developed a revolutionary product-U disk, which replaced the traditional floppy disk. Deng Guoshun applied for more than 150 patents for USB flash drive alone.

Do it! Deng Guoshun and John Cheng gave up the attractive treatment abroad, resolutely returned to China, rented a house in Luohu District, Shenzhen, and began to attack a completely strange field without any ready-made products for reference.

After 1 year's exploration, a USB flash drive named "USB flash drive" was finally born in their hands. At the second China International Hi-tech Fair, when Deng Guoshun hung a USB flash drive around his neck, it was immediately favored by many companies. Singapore listed company TREK 2000 Internalization-ALLTD-ALLTD jointly invested 8.88 million yuan with them to establish Shenzhen Netac Technology Co., Ltd. ..

From studying to starting a business, Deng Guoshun has no distractions. There is a photo frame hanging in his office, which reads: Become a global leader in mobile storage and wireless data communication. This is his goal and belief.

The advantages of patents are also reflected in the staged performance of Netac. According to the data provided by Netac, in 2003, the company occupied 50% of the domestic U disk market, and the sales volume reached more than 654.38+0.5 million.
