From 1986 to 1999, Unilever invested 800 million US dollars in China, established 14 joint ventures, and introduced more than 100 advanced patented technologies. Thirteen brands, including Ponzi, Lux, Xia Shilian, Mystery, China, Lipton Yellow Card and Snow, belong to three series of products: household and personal care products, ice cream and food, which makes the products labeled with Unilever in China ready to open a decent store and connect with all aspects of people's daily life.

Unilever's most famous acquisitions in China should be the time-honored brands "Jinghua Tea" and "Zhonghua Toothpaste": 1999. Unilever acquired local tea brands and paved the way for its Lipton brand by "freezing" the acquired brands.
It was not until 2007 that Beijing Ershang Group repurchased the brand of Jinghua Tea from Unilever. However, after nine years in the hands of foreign bosses, Jinghua Tea lost its original market share and brand influence. "Zhonghua Toothpaste" is a brand that Unilever borrowed from Shanghai Toothpaste Factory for 50 years.
Later, I found that the influence of my own brand Jienuo was not as high as that in China, so I invested a lot of research and development and advertising on China toothpaste. At present, there are many single items of toothpaste in China, which can be said to be developed from Unilever, a state-owned brand.
