Jasmine tea origin: Fuzhou, Fujian, Hengxian, Guangxi, Qianwei, Sichuan, Yuanjiang, Yunnan, etc.
Jasmine tea is mostly produced in southern my country, among which Fuzhou in Fujian, Hengxian in Guangxi, Qianwei in Sichuan, and Yuanjiang in Yunnan are all famous producing areas. Varieties include Longtuanzhu, Zhenghe Silver Needle, Jinhua Jasmine, Bitan Piaoxue and so on.
Since the production of jasmine tea requires that the jasmine flowers be picked and paid for the same night, the production areas of jasmine tea need to be distributed with convenient transportation and close to the jasmine production areas. Fuzhou is a typical estuary basin. The mountains around the basin are mostly between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level. The sunshine is short, there is a lot of scattered light, and the clouds are shrouded in fog, which is very conducive to growing tea trees. The alluvial plain in the center of the basin is sandy loam, with high fertility and sufficient water. Jasmine cuttings are easy to survive, and the temperature difference between day and night ensures the quality of jasmine flowers. A planting pattern of "tea trees are planted on hills and jasmine is planted along rivers" has been formed in Fuzhou to rationally utilize natural resources.
Grades of Jasmine Tea
Generally, the raw materials used in special jasmine tea are of good tenderness, often with one bud and one leaf, two leaves, or many buds with exposed buds.
1. Special grade and first-grade tea
The raw materials used are of good tenderness, with thin and tight strips and slightly exposed buds.
2. Second-level and third-level teas
The raw materials used in second-level and third-level teas are slightly less tender and basically have no buds.

Level 4 and 5 teas are low-grade teas. The tenderness of the raw materials is relatively poor, and the strips are loose and large, often with stems.
