Long-term engaged in preventive medicine-disease control, good at plague, leprosy, especially iodine deficiency disorders. 1985- 1986 presided over the "experimental study on prevention and treatment of endemic goiter in Tibet with iodized tea brick", 1987- 1988 presided over and participated in the "observation on clinical efficacy of prevention and treatment of endemic goiter in Tibet with iodized tea brick". Both studies are the first at home and abroad, and the results have reached the domestic advanced level. Popularizing this method can effectively control. This project won the third prize of Xizang Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award 1989, among which "Iodization of Tea Brick and Its Preparation Method" won the national patent.
