The first step to register for the judicial examination is to have the nationality of China people, enjoy the right to vote and stand for election, and have full capacity for civil conduct.
Educational requirements
The qualifications for registering for the judicial examination are undergraduate students majoring in law or non-law in institutions of higher learning, or college degree with legal professional knowledge. If you are currently a junior high school diploma, you can obtain an undergraduate diploma by continuing your high school studies or taking a self-study exam, so as to meet the registration conditions.
Professional knowledge requirements
The professional knowledge required to sign up for the judicial examination is the corresponding legal professional knowledge. This condition can be met by studying law courses in universities, self-learning law books or accumulating legal knowledge through internships and work experience.
Prohibition condition
There are also some prohibitive conditions for registering for the judicial examination. For example, those who have been criminally punished for intentional crimes, those who have been expelled from public office by state organs, and those who have had their lawyer's practice license revoked cannot sign up for the exam. At the same time, those caught cheating in the national judicial examination will be punished for not signing up for the examination for two years.
