I was beaten and didn't fight back. What should I do if I call the police?

"The public security organs will take different measures against the perpetrators according to the reasons. If the circumstances are minor, mediation, criticism and education can be conducted, and if the circumstances are serious or bad, warnings, fines and detention can be given.

If the case really belongs to the jurisdiction of the public security organ, the public security organ shall accept it according to law. When the public security organ refuses to accept a case, it needs to treat it differently according to whether the case itself belongs to the jurisdiction of the public security organ, whether it is a general public security case or a criminal case.

Take criminal cases as an example: if a public security organ refuses to perform its statutory duties and file a case, it may make a request to the procuratorial organ at the same level. Article 87 of China's Criminal Procedure Law stipulates: "If the people's procuratorate thinks that the public security organ does not file a case for investigation, or the victim thinks that the public security organ does not file a case for investigation, the people's procuratorate shall ask the public security organ to explain the reasons for not filing a case. If the people's procuratorate believes that the reason why the public security organ does not file a case cannot be established, it shall notify the public security organ to file a case, and the public security organ shall file a case after receiving the notice. " The public security organ shall decide to file a case within 15 days after receiving the notice of filing a case from the people's procuratorate, and serve the decision on filing a case to the people's procuratorate. At the same time, the people's procuratorate should also take measures to supervise the implementation of the notice filing.

In fact, from the above analysis, it can be seen that in China, after calling the police, the police and the Public Security Bureau will undoubtedly protect the rights of the beaten party. In this case, it is suggested that the parties should keep the complete scene and evidence to facilitate the police to handle the case quickly. If they are still not satisfied with the result, they can contact a lawyer.
