The income of German lawyers

In the final ranking, the average salary of Germany in four of the five legal professional categories ranks among the five countries with the highest salary in Europe. Only the legal secretary has a relatively low income: the average annual income is 2534 1 euro, ranking 12. Compared with leading Switzerland, the gap is obvious. The annual income of Swiss legal secretaries is equivalent to 68 140 euros.

On the other hand, the average annual salary of German notary lawyers is 125727 euros, ranking third in Europe. Followed by lawyers, the average annual income of ordinary lawyers in Germany is 105678 euros, ranking fourth in Europe. The salaries of legal assistants and mediators are also very high, with an average annual salary of 57,337 euros and 54,556 euros, ranking fifth and fourth respectively in Europe.

In Switzerland, the salaries of almost all legal professional groups are the highest in Europe. But as a lawyer, Norway can get the most income: the average annual salary is as high as 1293 13 euros, followed by Switzerland, with the average annual salary of 127869 euros. In Denmark, the salaries of all legal professional groups have entered the top five.

Minimum wage: Poland, Romania, Russia

In Poland, Romania and Russia, the income of legal work is not that of other European countries: here, sometimes it is only one-third or even one-seventh of the top rankings. However, the cost of living varies greatly among countries, so it is impossible to compare the absolute workload.
