Legal basis: "Lawyers Law of the People's Republic of China".
Article 28 Lawyers may engage in the following businesses: (1) Accept the entrustment of natural persons, legal persons or other organizations to serve as legal advisors; (2) Accept the entrustment of parties to civil cases and administrative cases and act as agents (3) Accept the entrustment of criminal suspects in criminal cases, provide them with legal advice, represent them in appeals and accusations, apply for bail pending trial for arrested criminal suspects, accept the entrustment of criminal suspects and defendants or the people's As designated by the court, serve as defenders, accept entrustments from private prosecutors in private prosecution cases, victims in public prosecution cases, or their close relatives, and participate in litigation on their behalf; (4) Accept entrustments and represent appeals in various litigation cases; (5) Accept entrustments and participate in mediation and Arbitration activities; (6) Accepting entrustments and providing non-litigation legal services; (7) Answering legal questions and writing litigation documents and other documents related to legal affairs.
Article 29 Lawyers serving as legal advisors shall, as agreed, provide advisory opinions to clients on relevant legal issues, draft and review legal documents, participate in litigation, mediation or arbitration activities as an agent, and handle entrustments. Other legal matters to protect the client's legitimate rights and interests.
Article 30: Lawyers who represent litigious legal matters or non-litigious legal matters shall safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the client within the scope of entrustment authority.
