Meghan will play the female lead in a new trailer for the final season of Suits to air in July

Meghan Markle's character in "The Goldbergs Lawyer" will appear in the trailer for the final season, which will air in July.

Before exiting the show in season seven, Meghan played the role of Rachel Zane, a lawyer by profession.

In the minute-long trailer, all previous seasons are combined, including some of Megan's best moments.

Rachel had just tied the knot with Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, at the end of the show.

However, the nostalgic trailer takes fans back to the first season, including Mike pleading with Gabriel Macht's Harvey Specter to hire him .

Other videos include scenes of Mike meeting his future wife Rachel (played by Megan) and the first time they have sex before Rachel dramatically slaps him in the face.

The trailer also includes scenes from the Season 4 finale, with Mike proposing to a tearful Rachel, and their wedding in April 2018, just before Meghan and Prince Harry's real-life wedding weeks.

Mike and Rachel left the law firm at the end of season seven and moved to Seattle to enjoy their happy ending.

Aaron Korsh, the show's creator and producer, said of the wedding scene: "I felt like we had to do this. This is what we should do.

"Obviously I'm happy for Meghan's personal life, things are pretty much the same. It just happened."

Unfortunately for die-hard fans of "The Golden Attorney," the season premiering on July 17 will be the show's last.

"I and everyone at USA Network would like to express our sincere gratitude to Aaron Korsh, our partners at UCP, and the entire Suits family for their tremendous creativity on this amazing journey, Dedication and support.

Mike will return for a guest appearance in the final 10 episodes, but new mum Megan will not return.

Aaron said: "Megan is not being asked to leave the royal family at this time. Join us.

"We love her and we wish her the best, but I don't think that's true."

Meghan gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6 and is currently adjusting to life as a new mother.

She was last seen attending the Trooping the Color parade on the Queen's official birthday earlier this month.
