Fenzhoubao, the core "platform" of Heyouping Ancient Castle, belongs to Group 3 of Fenzhou Village, Heyou Town, and now lives in 50 households with more than 200 people, with a total area of about 300,000 square meters.
Heyouping, located in the south of Dianjiang County, was historically under the jurisdiction of Fuling County (now Fuling District of Chongqing), and was placed under the jurisdiction of Dianjiang County in September of 1953. Its scope includes Pingshan Town, Heyou Town, Baijia Town, Jiabao Town, Wang Jiazhen, Yongping Town, Peixing Town, a part of sanxi town, and a part of Huazhong Town and Longfei Town in Changshou District.
He Youping is located in the fringe of Changshou, Fuling, Fengdu and Dianjiang counties (districts).
Heyouping is an isolated plateau, 70 miles long and 30 miles wide, surrounded by cliffs.
