1. At present, the Civil Affairs Bureau has realized the nationwide networking of registration information, but it has not been networked with the Public Security Bureau. The public security bureau has to go to the civil affairs bureau to check. By the end of June this year, the goal of nationwide networking of marriage registration information has been achieved. At present, the Ministry of Civil Affairs has initially established a central-level marriage registration data center, and 3/kloc-0 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) have established provincial-level marriage registration network platforms and data centers, thus realizing online marriage registration processing and online audit of national marriage registration information. The marriage registration system has achieved nationwide networking, with the functions of data exchange between provinces and nationwide networking audit. However, marriage registration information involves personal privacy, and related inquiries are strictly regulated. Generally, only people's courts, people's procuratorates, public security and security departments, lawyers and agents ad litem can consult the marriage registration files with the letter of introduction from the unit to confirm the marriage relationship of the parties. 2. Article 1049 of the Civil Code requires both men and women to apply for marriage registration in person at the marriage registration office. Those who meet the requirements of this law shall be registered and issued a marriage certificate. The marriage relationship is established when the marriage registration is completed. Those who have not registered for marriage shall re-register.
