The court personnel of Nassu County pointed out on the 28th that Zhou Libo and Tang Shuang were originally scheduled to appear in court again on March 9th, but it has been confirmed that they will be postponed until April. The prosecution's charges against the two men remained unchanged, including illegal possession of loaded guns, illegal possession of weapons and illegal possession of controlled drugs. Zhou Libo was also accused of driving and using a mobile phone.
Mo Hu, Zhou Libo's defense lawyer, did not explain why the trial on 28th was postponed, but said that "it needs to be verified again". Zhen Deman, Tang Shuang's defense lawyer, did not comment. After Zhou Libo was arrested, he wrote in Weibo on 26th last month that "I believe the law will respect the facts and give me an innocence". Tang Shuang is still an assistant professor at the Institute of Technology of the State University of New York, whose human resources department declined to comment on Tang Jun's arrest.
