The debtor may be required to pay the necessary expenses for debt recovery.
The plaintiff's exception to the defendant: The following cases shall be under the jurisdiction of the court where the plaintiff has his domicile. Where the plaintiff's domicile is inconsistent with his habitual residence, the court of the plaintiff's habitual residence shall have jurisdiction:
1. Identity litigation against people who do not live in People's Republic of China (PRC).
2. Identity litigation against persons whose whereabouts are unknown or declared missing.
3. A lawsuit against a person who has been reeducated through labor or imprisoned, provided that the plaintiff has not been imprisoned or reeducated through labor.
4. In the case of recovery of alimony, if the domiciles of several defendants are not in the same jurisdiction, it may be under the jurisdiction of the people's court of the plaintiff's domicile.
5. If one spouse has been away from his domicile for more than 1 year, the case of divorce filed by the other spouse shall be under the jurisdiction of the people's court of the plaintiff's domicile.
