Anyone who steals crops with a value of 1000 yuan can file a case for investigation. Whoever steals public or private property with a value of more than 1,000 yuan and less than 3,000 yuan is a "relatively large amount" as stipulated in the theft crime, and shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance, and shall also or only be fined.
The deposit is generally around 20,000 yuan, and the minimum amount of bail pending trial in China is only 1000 yuan. There's evidence, too. The police have it. They can confess. But don't turn yourself in or confess if you don't. If the amount of theft is large, it is still related to activities. If the amount is reduced, the sentence will be lighter.
This is China's national conditions, which is true. Lawyers can only help criminal suspects get rid of unwarranted charges, because in criminal proceedings, judges take the initiative to confront defenders. In the absence of a lawyer, the judge will take the initiative to confront the prosecutor and find out the reasons for getting rid of the crime.
Anyone detained by the police station may apply to the local public security organ for bail pending trial. Not a police officer. Under the national conditions of our country, if the criminal evidence is conclusive, bail is generally not allowed. Bail is not allowed during detention.
