Transfer to restore the cardholder's credit card available amount in real time.

Credit card overdue repayment:

The consequences of overdue repayment of credit cards are serious, and overdraft consumption should be moderate. Although the biggest feature of credit card is overdraft function, it actually constitutes the loan relationship between customers and banks. Failure to repay the loan at maturity may not only cause legal disputes, but also bear high penalty interest. The most important thing is to form a bad record, which will adversely affect future work and life.

Consequences of credit card default 1:

Bear a high penalty interest. After a credit card defaults, the penalties usually involved are revolving interest charges and late fees. The essence of revolving credit is a small, unsecured loan with daily interest. If the repayment is not made in full on the last repayment date, revolving credit interest will be generated on the next statement, and the interest needs to be calculated from the date when the consumption is recorded.

Except for ICBC, the other 12 banks still carry out full penalty interest. Full penalty interest means that even if the customer repays the part, the repayment part is not deducted when calculating the penalty interest, and the interest expense is usually calculated at the daily interest rate of five ten thousandths. In addition, some banks stipulate that interest shall be calculated at five ten thousandths within 15 days from the bookkeeping date, ten thousandths after 15 days, and fifteen thousandths after 30 days or when the overdraft amount exceeds the specified limit. The longer the default time, the higher the penalty interest.

For example, suppose Miss Li's billing date is 10 day per month, and the last repayment date is 28th. 1 1 July, she spent 1000 yuan. By the 28th, when Miss Li was short of funds, she paid the minimum repayment amount 1000 yuan first. Then the recurring interest expense on the bill on August 10 is: 10000 yuan ×0.5 ‰× (July 28th to July11)+(10000 yuan ~10000).

If the cardholder fails to pay off the minimum repayment amount, in addition to the circulating interest charges, there will be a late payment fee, which is calculated at 5% of the unpaid part of the minimum repayment amount. If Miss Li only pays 500 yuan back, the late payment fee is (1000 yuan ~500 yuan) ×5%=25 yuan. In this case, the revolving interest expense will rise to 65,438+046.75 yuan, and Miss Li's total penalty interest this month is 65,438+0,765,438+0.75 yuan.

Consequence 2 of credit card default:

Cause legal disputes. Recently, violent credit card collection has become a hot topic. Many credit card centers of banks outsource the collection of credit card repayment to some so-called "debt collection companies". These companies are mixed, and the debt collection methods are rough, which brings great trouble to customers.

Not only that, the defaulting customer may also face legal disputes. According to the provisions of the Criminal Law, a credit card with a malicious overdraft of more than 5,000 yuan will not be repaid after three months of collection by the bank. If the circumstances are serious, criminal responsibility may also be investigated for fraud. For defaulting customers, after entering the judicial process, it will not only affect their reputation, but also lose more costs. In addition to paying off the arrears, it is even worse to bear the litigation costs.

Consequence 3 of credit card default:

Leave a "credit stain" in the national credit information system. In 2006, the central bank established a national unified enterprise and individual credit information basic database. As long as you have applied for a card or borrowed money from a bank, your own "credit report" will be automatically generated in this system. The "stain" in this report can't be ignored, and it will affect all kinds of applications for loans, insurance, job hunting and studying abroad. More importantly, bad records are generally kept for seven years abroad, but there is no such regulation in China, which means that if they are not remedied, this "stain" is likely to follow for life.

Tips: As a new payment method, credit card is also the simplest financial management method for consumers. Although overdraft consumption can reduce the financial pressure of cardholders' daily consumption, cardholders can easily become slaves if they are poorly managed or have no good financial management concept. Bian Xiao suggested that consumers should be cautious when the bill pressure is too high. They can apply to the bank for installment payment or apply for deferred repayment and extension of installment to relieve the pressure. At the same time, they should reflect on whether their consumption patterns are healthy and reasonable in time.

What is the most cost-effective way to repay credit cards?

Minimum repayment method

Advantages: sharing the repayment pressure and not affecting the credit record.

Disadvantages: it will generate cyclic interest.

According to reports, the so-called minimum repayment amount is generally 10% of the ordinary consumption amount after deducting special items such as annual fee and interest, and will be listed separately in each credit card bill.

If the bill is too large to be paid off in full, you can maintain a good credit record by paying the minimum repayment amount, and the bank will not blacklist you for malicious arrears. However, returning the minimum repayment amount will lose the interest-free period, so the cardholder has to pay a certain amount of interest.

At present, most domestic banks use the method of full interest, that is, from the date when consumption is recorded, they charge five ten thousandths of interest every day and compound interest every month.

Installment repayment method

Advantages: no extra interest. Disadvantages: there is also a handling fee.

According to reports, the so-called interest-free installment repayment business of credit card consumption means that after credit card consumption, cardholders can apply to the issuing bank for any installment repayment business within the specified time, and they can still enjoy "interest-free treatment" during the repayment period, but they need to pay a certain handling fee to the bank.

The handling fee rate of installment payment varies from bank to bank.

For example, the highest handling fee for the third phase is 2.6% of China Merchants Bank, and the lowest is1.65% of ICBC; 12 The highest installment fee is Huaxia Bank, and the lowest is China Everbright Bank, with 6%. There are two main ways to charge. One is to charge a monthly fee, which is adopted by CCB, Bank of Communications and China CITIC Bank. The other is one-time down payment, represented by ICBC, BOC and Ban Zhao.

Credit card risk control and tips:

(a) to maintain a good credit record

Application and legal use of credit cards

1. It is suggested to handle the credit card through legal channels. Credit card agencies obtain the information of credit card applicants by illegal means without the legal authorization of banks, which may be used for other illegal purposes, resulting in great losses of personal credit and economy. Consumers must apply for credit cards through formal channels.

Personal credit common sense

1. Before the due repayment date, if the repayment amount is less than the minimum repayment amount, the credit history of the cardholder will be affected. Cardholders should pay attention to the due repayment date and the amount owed on the bill. At present, many banks have introduced various convenient repayment methods, such as automatic debit card deduction and other convenient repayment methods.

2. The cardholder's credit card consumption repayment record will be directly incorporated into the national personal credit information basic database. Maintaining a good credit record helps cardholders to improve the convenience and possibility of obtaining financial support and financing services.

3. If the cardholder fails to repay the loan on time, he shall pay the interest, overdue fine and other expenses in accordance with the relevant provisions of the credit card collection contract. Before using the card, you need to know the credit card charging standards such as revolving interest and late payment fee in detail.

(2) How to save personal information

Safely keep personal credit card information.

1, credit card number, expiration date and inspection number (the last three digits of the seven-digit signature column on the back of the credit card) are all important information of the credit card. If it is obtained by criminals, it will lead to the risk of misappropriation. In order to avoid risks, it is recommended to keep personal information such as cards, card numbers, expiration dates, inspection numbers, personal ID numbers, contact information, etc., and never tell others about credit card information at will.

2. When applying for a credit card, the applicant can indicate the purpose of use in a prominent position of the personal identification certificate and the copy of relevant supporting documents provided, such as "only used for applying for XX bank credit card, and the copy is invalid" to prevent personal data from being used for other purposes.

3. Don't make the credit card password too simple, and avoid using easily leaked numbers such as birthday, telephone number and ID number. Don't write the password on the credit card, and don't put the notebook with the password on it with the credit card. It is suggested that ID cards and credit cards should be separated as much as possible.
