Talent, do you still need talent to be a lawyer? Sure! Talent includes the following aspects: first, the mind. If the mental development is unbalanced and one aspect of personality is too extreme, then it is not suitable to be a lawyer. For example, there is no enthusiasm for things and people.
Secondly, if your appearance is too bad for the audience, it is difficult for you to become a decent lawyer. This is the real society. When people meet for the first time, their appearance is often more important than their talents. No matter how long or short we get along, everyone wants their lawyers to look good, not to describe them as obscene. Some friends who passed the judicial examination knocked on the door of the law firm several times and refused to let them in, and they never knew why. Part of it is because of the reasons I mentioned, especially some places that pay attention to fame. They will care about the candidate's appearance to some extent. Although this standard is not correct, it is a reality.
The acquired resources of lawyers include family resources and social resources of lawyers.
The most important thing to be a lawyer is that you have a case to solve. Without a criminal record, a clever woman can't cook without rice. After a year or two, you can't support yourself and your family, and your business level can't keep up with the times. So where did the lawyer's case come from? Let me talk about two lawyers I know to explain where their initial cases came from:
Lawyer A, a new lawyer, has two main sources: his family is the leader of an industrial bureau, 1968+0990. In the early 1990s, many subordinates of this leader also became leaders of many units. Lawyer A relies on the recommendation of his family, colleagues and friends, and gradually obtains the lawyer business of some enterprises. In addition, lawyer A was a teacher in a staff university before becoming a lawyer, and many of his students later became the source of his initial civil and criminal cases.
Lawyer B, struggling alone in Beijing. After becoming a lawyer, his classmates at the Foreign Languages Institute and friends he met while working in state organs became his initial sources of cases.
If a novice lawyer does not have the above resources, it is difficult for him to become a decent lawyer in a year or two or even four or five years.
I define the following abilities that lawyers should possess as acquired abilities. Lawyers should be the best people to deal with people, not only from the talent. If you are not only bad at dealing with people, but also unwilling to deal with all kinds of people, then you can't be a lawyer at all.
If you are not good at expression, including oral expression and written expression, including one-on-one expression and expressing opinions in front of hundreds of people, and you are not determined to get rid of the huge defects for lawyers, you can't be a lawyer. If you can't write the exam and the letter from home now, you might as well give up the idea of becoming a lawyer. Of course, both language expression and written expression can be constantly studied and exercised, which requires both time and your own conscious understanding.
Lawyer is a profession that needs continuous learning. If you think that once you pass the judicial examination, you don't need to study any more, then you are likely to become a rogue lawyer, which is far from the lawyer needed by society and the decent lawyer I mentioned. I don't know what my peers think?
