2. Southwest University of Political Science and Law&; France is located in the beautiful mountain city of Chongqing. It is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning of politics and law in New China, jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and one of the first national key universities. It is called the "National Southwest Associated University" of law education in New China. The predecessor of the school is Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and the predecessor is Southwest People's Revolutionary University, which was established in 1950, with Marshal Liu Bocheng as the principal. 1953, based on the Department of Political Science and Law of Southwest People's Revolutionary University, the law school (department) merged with Chongqing University, Sichuan University, Guizhou University, Yunnan University and Chongqing University of Finance and Economics was formally established. At the beginning of the school, the school received the cordial care of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries such as Deng Xiaoping and Liu Bocheng, then the director of the Southwest Bureau.
