A lawyer in Jiangsu was stabbed to death more than 30 times in his home. The police reviewed it and decided to commit suicide.

Today (27th) evening, Jintan Branch of Changzhou Public Security Bureau of Jiangsu Province reported that "the lawyer died at home", saying that Changzhou Public Security Bureau maintained the conclusion of suicide after review.

Jiangsu local media reported that a lawyer in Jintan was stabbed more than 30 times and died at home on the third day of the New Year (February 18). The deceased surnamed Wu, 49 years old, lawyer of law firm. Jintan police investigated the scene after receiving the report and determined that the deceased committed suicide.

He was stabbed more than 30 times and was identified as suicide. The lawyer's death caused controversy.

Tonight, Jintan Branch of Changzhou Public Security Bureau reported that at 7 o'clock on February 18, the police received an alarm from Wang, saying that he got up in the morning and found his son-in-law Wu Mou dead at home.

After receiving the report, the technicians and forensic doctors of the criminal police brigade of Jintan Branch rushed to the scene for investigation. The investigation found that the doors and windows of the site were intact, and there were no footprints of outsiders and no obvious signs of fighting. On the morning of the same day, the forensic doctor examined the body of the deceased. The examination found that the injuries of the deceased were located in the forehead, occipital region, front of neck, back of neck, front of left wrist and abdomen, all of which were closely arranged in parallel, and the wounds were located in the accessible part of his right hand. There were no signs of poisoning, no signs of binding and bondage, no struggle, and no damage to the clothes at the corresponding parts of the wound. No trace of physical evidence was found on the kitchen knife next to the right hand of the body, no abnormality was found in the poison test, and no ethanol component was detected.

According to the comprehensive analysis of on-the-spot investigation, corpse examination, investigation and interview, the police determined that the body surface injury of the deceased Wu Mou conformed to its own formation and ruled out homicide. The cause of suicide is under further investigation.

On February 26th, Changzhou City Public Security Bureau dispatched police to Jintan, focusing on re-exploration of the scene and autopsy of the body, confirming that Wu died of hemorrhagic shock. Combined with the previous site investigation, corpse inspection, material evidence inspection, poison inspection and investigation visit, the conclusion of "excluding homicide" was maintained.
