Master of Laws (JM) is one of the professional master's degrees. Since 1996, China's pilot LLM has been set up in accordance with the Interim Measures for the Examination and Approval of Professional Degree Setting, which was deliberated and adopted at the 4th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. Master degree in law is a professional degree with a specific legal background, which mainly trains high-level legal professionals and management talents for departments and industries such as legislation, justice, lawyers, notarization, trial, procuratorial, supervision and economic management, finance, administrative law enforcement and supervision.
