I. What are the responsibilities of legal aid

2. Legal aid is a legalized and institutionalized behavior and an important part of the national social security system.
3. The objects of legal aid are special groups with financial difficulties, disability, frailty or designated by the people's court.
4. Legal aid institutions will reduce the legal service fees of aid recipients, and the courts will reduce the case acceptance fees and other litigation costs of aid recipients.
5. The forms of legal aid include litigation legal services and non-litigation legal services. There are mainly the following forms: criminal defense and criminal agency; civil and administrative litigation agency; non-litigation legal affairs agency; notarization and certification.
2. Instructions for submitting materials when applying for legal aid
Applicants for legal aid should submit legal aid application materials in accordance with the following requirements:
1. Fill in the legal aid application form , after reading the instructions and precautions for filling out the form, fill it out item by item as required. The cases and reasons for applying for legal aid should be as detailed and clear as possible. After filling out the form, the applicant should sign, seal or fingerprint, and indicate the date of application. If the party appoints an agent, the agent shall also sign or seal it.
2. If you apply for legal aid on behalf of others, you must fill in a legal aid application power of attorney as required. The power of attorney to apply for legal aid should have the signatures, seals or fingerprints of the client and the trustee***. If the entrusted agent is the legal agent of the applicant, a legal agent certificate shall be issued. If the entrusted agent has a certain capacity for civil conduct (such as a minor between 10 and 18 years old), he or she must also sign on the legal aid application form and other legal aid documents.
3. In the proof of financial difficulties, in addition to stating the financial difficulties of the family, the specific figure of the per capita income of the applicant's family should also be stated, for example, the per capita income of the ××× family is 298 yuan per month.
4. When applying for legal aid and submitting materials, you should submit the original materials and provide copies corresponding to the originals. After the application materials are reviewed by the center’s review staff, the originals will be returned to the applicant (excluding the original proof of financial difficulties), and the copies will be handed over to the Legal Aid Center for archiving.
