Can I consult a lawyer before the trial of a criminal case?

According to Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Law, only lawyers can meet with criminal suspects before sentencing. Because, in the end, how to judge whether you can get a good result depends on whether you can find all the facts and plots that are beneficial to the defendant and make it clear to the case-handling organ concisely, to the point, reasonably and forcefully. Criminal defense is a process. Only when lawyers get involved in the case and carry out specific defense work can they find all the facts and circumstances that are beneficial to the defendant.
