Applicable object of fine penalty
From the nature of crimes, the fine penalty stipulated in China's criminal law is mainly applicable to three kinds of crimes:
1. Economic crimes
There are more than 9 crimes of disrupting the order of socialist market economy stipulated in Chapter III of the Specific Provisions of Criminal Law. Many articles basically stipulate the independent application or additional application of fine punishment.
2. Property crimes
There are 14 crimes against property stipulated in Chapter V of the Specific Provisions of the Criminal Law, of which 9 are stipulated to be fined, accounting for more than 5% of the total number of articles.
III. Other Intentional Crimes
There are more than 9 crimes of disrupting social management order stipulated in Chapter VI of the Specific Provisions of the Criminal Law, of which about 5% are fined.
