Shortly after the article was published, Zhu Jun commissioned Beijing Xingquan Law Firm to issue a lawyer's statement, saying that a large amount of false information related to "Zhu Jun sexually harassed interns" appeared on the Internet. Subsequently, Zhu Jun submitted a complaint to Haidian Court on the grounds of damage to his reputation, suing Xian's subsidiary company and Xu Chao, who forwarded the article, claiming 655,000 yuan.
On September 25, 2018, while receiving a copy of Zhu Jun’s indictment, Xianzi submitted a complaint to the Haidian District Court, suing Zhu Jun for compensation of more than 60,000 yuan on the basis of a dispute over liability for damage caused by sexual harassment. Among them, spiritual comfort payment is 50,000 yuan.
Before the court session on the afternoon of December 2, a reporter from Caijing called Zhu Jun, but could not contact him personally. As of press time, Zhu Jun has not publicly commented on the trial.
Zhu Jun did not appear in court

On August 15, 2018, Zhu Jun commissioned a lawyer from Beijing Xingquan Law Firm to issue a statement, saying that a large amount of false information related to "Zhu Jun sexually harassed (obscene) interns" appeared on the Internet. In the claim statement on September 19, 2018, Zhu Jun asked Xianzi and Xu Chao to delete the articles involved in the case, and claimed 655,000 yuan, including 500,000 yuan in mental damages.

The police records of that year were "reappeared"
After the prosecution, they applied to the court to obtain evidence that they had reported the crime at the time of the incident.
On June 10, 2014, the second day after the incident, Xianzi went to the location where the surveillance video was recorded to report the crime. At that time, the police went out to retrieve the surveillance video outside the fitting room, extracted the clothes Xianzi wore that day and the traces left on his body, and made notes to relevant personnel. However, the Haidian Public Security Bureau did not make a conclusion on the handling of the case. . After the case was exposed and attracted public attention, Xianzi reported the matter to the prosecutor's office. Xianzi said that in November 2018, the Haidian District Procuratorate sent her a notice of decision not to report the criminal case to the public security organs.
At the pre-trial meeting of this case, Xianzi’s 2014 alarm record and the “reappearance” of the case file at that time will become important evidence in this trial. A reporter from Caijing learned that after many years, both parties had seen the case file materials again.

According to the Caijing reporter, Xianzi had applied for access to the surveillance video of the corridor outside the locker room, but it was not available before the trial. At that time, there were several surveillance screenshots in the police on-site investigation records, which showed that Xianzi entered the locker room after passing through the corridor, stayed there for more than 40 minutes, and then returned to the building.
In addition, according to the Caijing reporter, Xianzi applied for 8 witnesses in the trial, including her parents, teachers and classmates who accompanied her to the police. Zhu Jun applied for four witnesses to appear in court, most of whom were employees of his team at the time. One of them was another intern who brought Xianzi into the locker room.
