On September 25, 2018, while receiving a copy of Zhu Jun’s indictment, Xianzi submitted a complaint to the Haidian District Court, suing Zhu Jun for compensation of more than 60,000 yuan on the basis of a dispute over liability for damage caused by sexual harassment. Zhu Jun did not appear in court

After the prosecution, they applied to the court to obtain evidence that they had reported the crime at the time of the incident.

On June 10, 2014, the second day after the incident, Xianzi went to the location where the surveillance video was recorded to report the crime. At that time, the police went out to retrieve the surveillance video outside the fitting room, extracted the clothes Xianzi wore that day and the traces left on his body, and made notes to relevant personnel. However, the Haidian Public Security Bureau did not make a conclusion on the handling of the case. . Xianzi said that in November 2018, the Haidian District Procuratorate sent her a notice of decision not to report the criminal case to the public security organs.

According to the Caijing reporter, Xianzi had applied for access to the surveillance video of the corridor outside the locker room, but it was not available before the trial. At that time, there were several surveillance screenshots in the police on-site investigation records, which showed that Xianzi entered the locker room after passing through the corridor, stayed there for more than 40 minutes, and then returned to the building.
