He has undertaken many influential cases at home and abroad (mostly legal aid) and is one of the earliest professional lawyers engaged in land acquisition and demolition in China.

In March 2006, a Tianjin judge beat a lawyer for undertaking the Tianjin Song Shengli. After high-level attention, the judge involved was dismissed.

From 2006 to 2007, he undertook the case that Du Jianping, a relocated household in Beijing, was beaten to death by a demolition company. The case was rated as the first of the top ten demolitions of real estate in China that year, and the reason for the list was "particularly brutal".

At the end of 2006, it helped Tianjin citizens to draft a proposal for the filing and review of laws and regulations, and finally prompted Tianjin Municipal People's Government to amend the Regulations on the Administration of Urban House Demolition, which was the first filing and review of citizens' laws and regulations in China.

From 2007 to 2008, he participated in the Gao Yingying case in Xiangfan, Hubei.

From 2008 to 2009, he undertook the incident of stabbing and killing the demolitions personnel by Zhang Jian in Benxi, Liaoning. The case was rated as one of the top ten influential cases of the year. Known as China's "Henry Sweet Case"
