How to terminate the attorney-client relationship?

A party may terminate the entrustment relationship with a lawyer at any time.

At the time of termination, the lawyer shall be notified to terminate the entrustment contract. If it is in the course of litigation, the entrustment can be cancelled without notifying the court.

Article 32 of the Lawyers Law: A client may refuse to entrust a lawyer to continue to defend or represent him, and at the same time, he may entrust another lawyer to act as a defender or agent.

Lawyers, different from ancient litigators and lawyers, refer to practitioners who have passed the national judicial examination, obtained a lawyer's practice certificate according to law, accepted entrustment or designation, and provided legal services to clients.

According to the nature of work, lawyers can be divided into full-time lawyers and part-time lawyers; according to their business scope, lawyers can be divided into civil lawyers, criminal lawyers and administrative lawyers; according to their clients and working status, lawyers can be divided into social lawyers, corporate lawyers and public lawyers.

Lawyer's business is mainly divided into litigation business and non-litigation business.
