The Royal Lawyer is a story about life, love and lawyers who are at the forefront of criminal law and face difficult cases. The script was written by Peter Moffat, who won the BAFTA Best Screenplay Award for his mini-play Justice.
Silk is an informal name, which actually refers to the queen's clothes. As a member, the royal lawyer must wear a specially designed silk robe, golden yellow or gray or white, with three curly wigs. The Royal Lawyer shows the audience the world of criminal lawyers from a grand, bold and fast-paced perspective, showing that these legal hawks are working and enjoying the world.
