Nationality and political stance
Candidates must have China nationality, support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and enjoy the right to vote and stand for election.
Educational requirements
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or above in law in colleges and universities, or a bachelor's degree or above in other majors in colleges and universities and have legal professional knowledge. If the region belongs to a place where the qualification conditions for registration are relaxed, the qualification conditions can be relaxed to a junior college degree in law. People with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan education and foreign institutions of higher learning can also sign up for the exam after academic certification.
Personality requirement
Candidates should be well-behaved and have no record of violating the law and discipline.
Registration is not allowed.
Persons who have received criminal punishment for intentional crimes, those who have been dismissed from public office by state organs, those whose lawyer's practice license has been revoked, those who have been sentenced to not take the national judicial examination within two years, and those who have been sentenced to not take the national judicial examination for life are not allowed to take the national judicial examination.
The situation of obtaining certificates.
Those who have passed the national judicial examination and obtained the A-class legal professional qualification certificate, and those who have obtained the B-class legal professional qualification certificate but have not obtained the bachelor's degree or above in colleges and universities may not register for the national judicial examination again.
