Does the provincial civil service examination require the household registration of fresh graduates?

Have a nationally recognized college degree or above. Applicants for non-Guangdong permanent residence (students) are limited to full-time colleges and universities with bachelor degree or above (except those who apply for special positions such as "serving grassroots project personnel" and "retired college student soldiers").

It is mentioned that applicants who are not permanent residents (students) in Guangdong Province are limited to those with full-time undergraduate education or above, so there is no household registration restriction for applying for undergraduate education or above. On April 20 1 13 10, 18 lawyers from eleven provinces and cities, including Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Beijing, jointly sent a letter to Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Civil Service Bureau, proposing to standardize the recruitment of civil servants and institutions nationwide and eliminate discrimination in household registration.

Zhengzhou Yirenping, a well-known anti-discrimination public welfare organization in China, made a small survey on the household registration restrictions of the positions recruited in the 20 12 National Civil Service Examination. The survey results show that there are more than 1500 positions with household registration restrictions. Some explicitly require local household registration or local students, while others set different conditions because of different household registration.

Lawyers believe that the civil service law does not stipulate that people with household registration or students' origin where institutions are located are eligible to apply for civil servants. The Interim Provisions on Public Recruiters in Public Institutions also requires that public recruiters should not set discriminatory requirements, and it is recommended to regulate them comprehensively.
