Can the company dismiss employees during the probation period?

The company may dismiss the employee during the probation period, but it must comply with the provisions of Article 39 of the Labor Contract Law. If the employee is under any of the following circumstances, the employer may terminate the labor contract: (1) If the employee is proved not to meet the employment conditions during the probation period, there is no need to pay economic compensation.

Otherwise, if it is suspected of illegally dissolving the labor contract, it needs to bear the legal responsibility of double indemnity stipulated in Article 87 of the Labor Contract Law.
