Buddhism in China is divided into eight sects, so there are eight corresponding ancestors. They are: the ancestral home of Zen Buddhism-Shaolin Temple in Zhengzhou; Jingzong Zuting -Xi Ji Xiang Temple; Famen Zuting-Ye Jing Temple in Central South China (founder Daoxuan founded and promoted Famen in Ye Jing Temple in Zhong Nanshan); Tiantai Sect's ancestral hall-Tiantai National Temple (Tiantai Mountain National Temple founded and promoted Tiantai Sect's first ancestor wise master); Ci-en Zong Zuting-Chang 'an Dajigong (ancestor master Xuanzang and disciple master peep Ji founded and promoted Ci-en Zong in Chang 'an Dajigong, also known as Fa Xiangzong and Wei Zhizong); Huayan Zongzuting-Huayan Temple in Chang 'an; Three Views on Ancestral Courtyard —— Caotang Temple in qixia temple and Huxian County, Nanjing: Ancestral Courtyard of tantric Sect —— Daxing Temple in Xi City.
