Article 38 The defense lawyers can provide legal assistance to the suspects during the investigation period; represent the complaints and accusations; apply for the change of coercive measures; and understand the suspects' suspects' alleged crimes and the relevant circumstances of the case to the investigating authorities, and put forward their opinions.
