Serrito Plot SynopsisThis film tells the story of a disabled piano teacher Li Jing (played by Gui Lunmei) who took the famous Hong Kong doctor Zhou Wenxuan (played by Zhang Chen) to court after a routine physical examination. The accusation of sexual assault caused an uproar in Hong Kong. Li Jing's prosecutor Chen Zhitian (played by Aaron Kwok) vowed to seek justice for her, but the defendant Zhou Wenxuan's defense lawyer (played by Yu Xia) believed that the case was not as simple as imagined... The duel between love and law began. Chen Zhitian was born in a lawyer's family and determined to be a conscientious lawyer since he was a child. He is uncompromising by nature and somewhat out of place in this real society. He finally decided to leave the prestigious law firm and join the Ministry of Justice, which punishes evil and promotes good, and became a public prosecutor. His first case is against Freddie, a young genius and rising star in Hong Kong's legal profession from his former firm. That case was the sexual harassment case of a famous doctor that the media and society as a whole had been paying attention to. The plaintiff Li Jing is a disabled piano teacher. She gave piano lessons to the daughter of defendant Zhou Wenxuan, who was also Li Jing's personal doctor. On the day of the incident, Li Jing went to the hospital to see Zhou Wenxuan for a physical examination, and the accompanying nurse was temporarily out. When the nurse came back, Li Jing had decided to sue Dr. Zhou for sexual assault. Chen Zhitian, who was full of a sense of justice, decided to stand up for this weak woman and fight for a sharp defense lawyer, setting off a Rashomon battle between humanity and justice.
