20 14 case of killing a giant panda in Yunnan, reckless man shot, and there were no giant pandas to the south of the Yangtze River. Who is the murderer?

Wang Wenlin, who lives in Longtai Village, Puer Town, Yanjin County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, woke up and went to his sheepfold to see sheep as usual. I almost exploded at the sight of my lungs. It turned out that one of the sheep was killed. This is terrible! A sheep is not a small sum for farmers. Wang Wenlin was so angry that he decided to kill it, whether it was a wolf, a tiger or a bear. He put an animal trap beside the sheepfold, wiped his powder gun and loaded it with ammunition.

On the morning of February 4, 65438, he got up early and took a powder gun to the sheepfold. Whenever he sees a trapped beast, he is going to be the first to shoot, and no one can persuade him. Arriving at the scene, he found that the condom had been broken. Angry Wang Wenlin immediately chased him into the mountains with a gun. Just then, my brother Wang Wencai called and said that the footprints of wild animals were found in the forest behind the house. It turns out that the two families live not far away. The whole village knows that the sheep in Wang Wenlin were killed yesterday, so my brother is also helping him keep an eye on the surrounding situation. Hang up the phone, angry Wang Wenlin immediately rushed to Wang Wencai, and two men took two guns and chased them into the mountains.

They searched all the way along the footprints, and soon found an animal shaking its hips and moving forward foolishly near Shuidagou in Longtai Village. It is a giant panda! There is probably no one in the world who doesn't know about giant pandas. Of course, the Wang brothers recognized it at a glance.

When ordinary people see the panda and know that it is a beast squatting at the bottom of the prison, they will definitely stay away from it with warmth, curiosity and even awe;

Unfortunately, however, Wang Wenlin, who was carried away by anger, decided that he would shoot down the tiger even if it was opposite. Putting down the gun is not his consideration. Wang Wenlin fired two shots in a row. After the noise, the panda fell to the ground and died.

The two men carried the giant panda home and bled, skinned, dismembered, boned and cut into pieces as quickly as possible. All the work was finished before 3 pm that day. At about 15, Wang Wenlin called Li Kequan and asked him to sell giant panda fur and meat. At 1 1 that night, the two brothers drove to the road near Chuansi Village, about 5 kilometers away from home. They sold about 70 kilograms of panda meat and four panda claws to Li Kequan who was waiting here. A * * * sold 4800 yuan, and the money and goods were clear.

As for the panda's fur, there may be some meat, which belongs to Wang Wencai. Other meat, two leg bones, two skulls, 1 bear gall, and the fat of panda meat are all from Wang Wenlin.

Besides, Li Kequan hid the meat and claws in his home in Liangwan Town, Shuifu County. One day later, he sold four paws to Wang Bin in Yibin, Sichuan, and the giant panda meat to Wu Jichao. This is on February 6, 65438.

The meat of the giant panda was sold to Qin Zugen and Du respectively, so that the poor giant panda was completely resold.

20 14 12 3 1, Taiping Town Police Station of Shuifu County Forest Public Security Bureau rushed to Wu Jichao's home after receiving the report clue, and seized 8.5 kilograms of suspected panda meat and a batch of frozen wild animal carcasses. Wu Jichao gave in easily. On the same day, Shuifu County Forest Public Security Bureau upgraded the case to criminal investigation, which was simple and everyone fell into the law.

One * * * Nine people: He sold it to Li Kequan, Li Kequan sold it, and the latter sold it to Qin Zugen and Du * * *; Li Kequan sold it to Wang Bin's paw, Wang Bin gave one paw to his brother and one paw to his younger brother (neither of them was sentenced), and the other one may have been sold to a man named Jason Wu.

Their verdict has been written at the end of the last article, 1989 case of hunting giant pandas in Shaanxi. Wang Wenlin was sentenced to 13 and fined 10000 yuan; Wang Wencai was sentenced to 1 1 year and fined 1 ten thousand yuan; The remaining six people were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from/kloc-0 to 4 years, and fined from 6,000 to 2,000 yuan. Some people think that brother Wang was given a light sentence. The Shuifu Court held that, on the one hand, it was accidental for them to hunt and sell giant pandas, on the other hand, they were Miao brothers and kept the habit of hunting, so they were reflected in the sentencing.

The case has come to an end, but the story behind it is not over.

First of all, this giant panda, which has attracted attention because of its death, has shown its true colors in front of local people several times before, but no one has ever reported it to it.

Zhu, a villager of Meiziba Village in Longtai Village, said that when he went to shoot bamboo shoots in February, he saw a lot of feces, all of which were bamboo leaves. He was scared and hurried down the mountain. When I came back to tell others, some people said, "Wild boars don't eat bamboo, they only eat bamboo shoots, and pandas eat bamboo leaves." Another villager, Ming Gui Xing, also said that when he broke bamboo shoots in March, he saw a lump of shit and a little grass. He argued that he had found an animal, "round and big, a bit like a panda."

Second, this giant panda hunting happened five years ago.

50 years ago, it was understandable that you didn't know about giant pandas. Five years ago, you said you didn't know. I'm afraid three-year-olds won't believe it. How could the Wang brothers not know about the living fossils known all over the world? But knowing this, they still brazenly shot. On the one hand, it is the tragic death of a heartbroken sheep, on the other hand, I am afraid it is indeed greed. At the beginning of 20 15, the national price of live sheep shall not exceed 1000 yuan 1. As sheep farmers, it is impossible for them not to know the market price. From the contact with buyers after the dismemberment and killing of pandas, they obviously know that the price of pandas is much higher than that of live sheep. What does this mean? It shows that as a mountaineer, I have long been exposed to buying and selling panda meat.

Therefore, it is a wrong conclusion that some people sympathize with the Wang brothers because of the death of live sheep. They are greedy for money. But unlike other cases of hunting giant pandas, they did not make careful plans and arrangements several months in advance, and planned to attack giant pandas from the beginning. After all, they only shot in anger because they accidentally met the giant panda. There are still essential differences between the two.

Third, the hunted panda is the first wild panda found in Yunnan Province.

After the defendant arrived at the case, the panda products in his hand were naturally confiscated. These products were finally sent to the identification center of Yunnan Science and Technology Commission in Kunming, and all of them were from the same giant panda after DNA identification. At the same time, the expert group confirmed that this is the first time that wild giant pandas have been found south of the Yangtze River.

In other words, after decades of research on giant pandas, everyone accepted the conclusion that "giant pandas are distributed in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu north of the Yangtze River", the discovery of this giant panda may reconstruct the existing conclusion. In fact, less than a month after the results of DNA identification were released, the State Forestry Administration decided to conduct a special investigation on whether there are giant panda resources in more than 40,000 hectares of forest areas with living conditions for giant pandas such as Suijiang County, Yanjin County and Shuifu County in Zhaotong City.

In theory, pandas belong to southern Pleistocene fauna and should be distributed in Yunnan, Vietnam and northern Myanmar. Longtai Village belongs to the alpine mountain area, and there are a lot of natural virgin forest resources in its jurisdiction. The area of all kinds of bamboo forests is as high as 1 1356 mu, which is in line with the living conditions of giant pandas. If the panda is not dead, if the Wang brothers report the case in time, it may be a great surprise to track the panda. In short, once it is proved that this wild panda is an indigenous panda in Zhaotong City, it will not only belong to Yunnan Province, but also be the pride of Jiangnan.

Fourth, it is the value of this giant panda.

Because it is dead, experts can only infer that it came from crossing the river from the collected feces and hair. Let's see how far it has gone.

The giant pandas found so far all live in the north of the Yangtze River, so the river this panda crosses refers to the Yangtze River. Shuifu County, Yunnan Province faces Yibin City, Sichuan Province across the river (the suspect Wang is a guest) and belongs to Zhaotong City with Shuifu. Experts concluded that the giant panda came from Yibin mountain area.

It is found that giant pandas can swim across the river. Yanjin, Shuifu and other counties are close to Yibin, with similar climate, high mountains and dense forests, and large areas of Fargesia and bamboo grow under the forest, which has the conditions for giant pandas to survive. The Yibin section of the Yangtze River is 200-300 meters wide, and the giant panda is firmly crossing the river to the south. According to the topographic map, it actually crosses more than one river, and most of it also crosses the Jinsha River with a width of 200m, the Nanguang River with a width of 100m and the Guanhe River with a width of 50 m.. Even when driving, the journey exceeds 100m. I have to say, jiaozi is really amazing!

Most importantly, this is a wild female panda. Dr. Wang Wenzhi from the Judicial Appraisal Center of Yunnan Science and Technology Commission said:

Male pandas usually stay with their mothers, while female pandas are driven out by their mothers to reproduce. This giant panda probably crossed the river to breed here, but being hunted will affect the whole population.

This female panda made a long journey to Yanjin County. Of course, it may die alone because it can't find its favorite male panda, but it is more likely to attract male pandas around Yanjin-if any, or attract another male panda north of the Yangtze River to follow her all the way. In either case, it is possible to breed a panda family and survive in the ancient Babbitt panda branch in Yunnan. Once this important task is completed, it will still be the pride of Yunnan Province and Jiangnan.

It's a pity that even if it's as good as 1000, how can it be a shot by a fool! History once chose Yanjin, but it was interrupted by a shot. Until today, only some precious giant panda fossils have been found in Yunnan.
