The registration conditions for the judicial examination stipulate that a person under any of the following circumstances cannot register for the examination, and if he has gone through the registration procedures, the registration is invalid:

(1) Having received criminal punishment for intentional crime;

(2) Being expelled from public office by a state organ or having his lawyer's practice license revoked;

(three) in accordance with the provisions of Article 18 of the Measures for the Implementation of the National Judicial Examination (Trial), he was sentenced to 2 years and was not allowed to register for the National Judicial Examination, and the time limit was not full; Or sentenced to life and not allowed to register for the national judicial examination.

Article 9 of the Lawyers Law shall not be issued with a lawyer's practice certificate under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Having no or limited capacity for civil conduct;

(2) Having been subjected to criminal punishment, except for negligent crimes;

(3) Being expelled from public office or having his lawyer's practice certificate revoked.

Both sides stipulate that they cannot be lawyers, but they can also engage in other legal-related work when studying law.
