Introduction to Puyang Station
Puyang Railway Station, located in Puyang City, Henan Province, China, is a first-class station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It was built in 1965 (Tang Pu Narrow Gauge Railway Puyang Station). In 1987, the Tangpu Railway was changed from narrow gauge to standard gauge. At the same time, Puyang Station was relocated and renovated, and the construction of the existing station building was completed in 2001.
Before the construction of Wazi Railway, Puyang only had Jingjiu Railway Station, the only railway passenger station. The original Tangtai-Taiwan Railway spans about 110 kilometers from east to west in Puyang and has many important stations such as Puyang West Station, Puyang Station, Fanxian Station, and Taiqian West Station. With the construction of the Wari Railway, the original Tangtai Railway was integrated into the whole. Puyang Station and Fanxian Station were rebuilt on the basis of the old stations, and Taiqian North Station was newly built.
Puyang West Station is a freight station, Puyang Station is a passenger station, and Fanxian Station and Taiqian North Station are passenger and cargo stations. Therefore, three new passenger terminals were added in Puyang. Although this is a heavy-haul railway mainly for freight, in terms of space, the Shanxi-Henan-Luzhou Railway to the Rizhao Port in Shandong in the east not only opened a large channel for Henan to go to the sea, but also ended the history of Puyang City without passenger trains. .
