(Students majoring in law are not included here. They should follow the syllabus and teaching materials. )
When you are a beginner, you should cultivate and consolidate your interest in law and jurisprudence. This is a boring, complicated and extremely realistic subject, and interest is the best motivation. If you don't stick to it, you will either give up halfway or become an amateur.
First, jurisprudence should not be studied at the beginning.
It is easy to get confused, and then lose interest, leading to giving up. Jurisprudence is the soul of law, but you'd better have some legal thinking to get in touch with it.
Ordinary people and legal persons have different judgments on right and wrong, moral standards and ways of thinking, and you will gradually understand.
Some things seem logical to the judge, but the public finds it incredible; Some things are normal to the public, but the judge is at a loss. Therefore, some domestic courts try to learn from the foreign jury system, and in some civil and commercial cases, hire practitioners from related industries to assist the courts in analyzing some "common sense" issues.
Second, criminal law.
The first book I recommend you to read, Zhang Mingkai's Criminal Law, also known as the Empress Dowager.
Criminal law can stimulate everyone's sense of justice, strengthen your interest and increase self-study ability, which is too important for people who study law by themselves.
Moreover, criminal law is not difficult, and you can teach yourself. This book is very long, detailed and clear-headed, and it is the best one in domestic criminal law works.
If you can't handle this book, there is no need to study other books, which is not suitable for studying law at all.
Third, the criminal procedure law.
The red book textbook of Peking University Press was found after a casual search on the Internet. Criminal prosecution follows criminal law, which is coherent and easy to learn.
Fourth, constitutional law.
It's easier to arouse interest, and you'll definitely want to know more about the departments and organizations in China.
Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Constitution is the fundamental law and the "ancestor" of all other laws, which must be learned.
Anyone can read the constitution book, but pay attention to the version of the book. 20 18 China has adopted the latest constitutional amendment, and some constitutional documents have not been amended, so they are old and should not be read.
In fact, you should pay attention to the version of each book and buy as many new books as possible. After all, laws are amended every once in a while, and old books are mixed with outdated content. )
Fifth, administrative law or administrative procedure law.
It is coherent to follow the constitution. You can just read either of these two books, and some of them are written in the same book.
It seems useful in life, but it is actually useless (the success rate of the people's complaints can be thought of with their eyes closed), and they know a little.
Sixth, an introduction to economic law.
This book can lay a solid foundation for you, because it involves company law, contract law, tax law, negotiable instrument law, insurance law, intellectual property law, labor law and so on, and there are a lot of dry goods.
If you ask, why is it now in the position of "Introduction to Economic Law"? Because it is too complicated, it is necessary to cram so many things into your mind when you just study law, and it is necessary to get confused.
Now that you have mastered criminal law, criminal procedure law, constitution and administrative law (or litigation), it is much easier to learn an introduction to economic law after establishing a framework in your mind.
Seventh, civil law and civil procedure law.
It is closely related to life, but self-study is difficult, so it is not until now that I have come into contact with civil law and civil litigation.
Eighth, the history of Chinese legal system, the history of foreign legal system, the history of China's legal thought and the history of western legal thought.
These four books are interdisciplinary (law and history), and you can read them if you are interested.
In fact, both the self-taught examination and the full-time law undergraduate have these four courses (sometimes they are also courses for law majors).
If you study history, you can skip these books.
Ninth, an introduction to international law, private international law and international economic law.
For the former, you already have the foundation of constitution and criminal law.
For the latter two, you have studied the introduction of civil law and economic law.
It's too easy to have wood.
Tenth, "lawyers and notarization system" and "legal document writing"
You can't be a lawyer. Now the threshold of the judicial examination has become higher, but these two books are still useful.
Maybe one day I can write a lawyer's letter to myself, and it's not a problem to save 1000 yuan, haha (although the lawyer's letter is not so easy to write).
Eleventh, now we can look at jurisprudence and other laws.
You have a bachelor's degree in law, and a legal person should have the thinking and rationality (although you can't become a legal person yet), so it is no problem to know the law and abide by it.
Of course, if you have enough time and energy, you can also sign up for the self-study exam. I must have taken a public class in college. All provinces have a policy of self-taught examination exemption. Public classes with qualified general grades can be exempted from the examination, so it is good to take legal courses directly.
Self-taught examination is actually to urge you to study and test your perseverance. You have to have a reason to stick to it. After all these, you can get a second diploma. If you don't have a degree certificate before, you can still take this opportunity to get a degree certificate. In this world, no amount of certificates will crush you.
As I said before, law is an extremely realistic subject. The word reality means that you should not only learn the law, but also learn how to make good use of it to protect yourself.
Bad guys are cunning, so you are more cunning than bad guys.
As for how to buy books, you can go to the online store to find them. Dog owners and Tmall can borrow books from friends they know who have studied French.
Try not to buy all the books at once. It's better to buy a book and read one, so as not to increase too much psychological pressure (reading a thick stack of books is bound to be stressful), save money (in case you can't stick to it), and most importantly, these books are enough for you to read for more than three or four years. During this period, China may revise its laws and textbooks accordingly. You bought a lot of books at first, but now it's not good to buy new books. This is a dilemma.
(If you are not afraid of hard work, you can go to a physical bookstore, but textbooks are hard to find in bookstores. )
Here, I wish you success in learning the law!
