During the period of custody, with the consent of the case-handling organ and the approval of the public security organ, criminals may communicate and meet with their close relatives.

While serving a sentence, a prisoner may meet with his relatives and guardians in accordance with regulations. Criminals usually meet once a month 1 time for half an hour to one hour at a time. Prisons can take care of lenient criminals and other criminals with special circumstances, increase the number of meetings and extend the meeting time. Criminals who need to meet, when sending letters every month, ask to meet. The squadron police sent a meeting notice with a letter, and the meeting object will meet in the prison according to the specified date. In principle, the targets that criminals meet refer to their close relatives and guardians.
Second, how long can I visit after sentencing?
After the judgment is served on the defendant himself, if the defendant himself does not appeal, the procuratorate of first instance does not protest, and the family members can visit the detention center or prison with the proof of kinship and the original judgment after the court service. If the sentence is less than one year, you can continue to serve your sentence in the detention center, and if the sentence is more than one year, you will be transferred to prison to serve your sentence. There is a ten-day appeal period after the criminal case judgment is served, and the judgment will take effect after the appeal period. If the judgment takes effect, the execution document will be sent to the detention center about 20 days after the judgment is served on the defendant, and the execution family members can visit in the detention center. Visits need to bring proof of kinship and the original judgment.
