Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 In order to further implement the "Sunshine Project" of college enrollment, standardize the enrollment of full-time undergraduates, and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of schools and candidates, in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the Regulations on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and the Implementation Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of the Enrollment System for Examinations (Guo Fa [20 14]).

Article 2 School enrollment shall follow the principles of fairness, justice and openness, and ensure that students from different economic backgrounds, races, genders and religious beliefs have the opportunity to apply for admission. Accept the supervision of discipline inspection and supervision departments, candidates, parents and all sectors of society.

Article 3 These Articles of Association are mainly applicable to undergraduate enrollment in Chinese mainland. Recruiting international students and overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant state policies and regulations, with reference to the articles of association.

Chapter II General Situation of Schools

Article 8 Nature of running a school: Duke University in Kunshan (hereinafter referred to as the school) is a non-profit Sino-foreign cooperative university with independent legal personality jointly established by Duke University in the United States and Wuhan University, aiming at building a world-class research-oriented comprehensive university featuring liberal arts education and helping students in China and other countries and regions in the world to create a meaningful and successful life.

Article 9 The competent unit of the school: Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education.

Article 10 Undergraduate students who have been admitted in accordance with the national enrollment regulations and obtained the official status of our school will receive the following full-time undergraduate graduation certificates when they have completed the required credits within the allowed study period and reached the basic requirements for graduation:

1, bachelor's degree certificate of Duke University in Kunshan (supervised by People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education and the State Council Academic Degrees Committee).

2. Kunshan Duke University diploma (supervised by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education)

3. Bachelor's degree certificate from Duke University (awarded by Duke University in the United States and certified by Southern College Alliance Committee)

Chapter III Organizational Structure and Responsibilities

Article 11 The school shall set up a leading group for enrollment and an enrollment committee, and set up an enrollment office in China and an international enrollment office. As the leading and decision-making body of school enrollment, the enrollment leading group comprehensively leads the enrollment of ordinary undergraduate students, implements the enrollment policies of the Ministry of Education and relevant provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions), studies and formulates enrollment policies, enrollment regulations, enrollment plans and admission rules, and makes decisions on major enrollment issues. The Admissions Committee is a decision-making consultation, democratic management and supervision institution for school enrollment. It is responsible for studying, suggesting and reviewing enrollment policies and systems, supervising school enrollment, and maintaining fairness and justice in enrollment. The Admissions Committee has an Admissions Supervision Team to supervise the whole process of enrollment.

Twelfth China Admissions Office is the executive body of the school's China enrollment work. Its main responsibility is to organize and implement the school's enrollment according to the school's enrollment regulations and implementation methods. The admissions team is responsible for enrollment publicity and consulting services. Chapter IV Enrollment Plan

Article 14 In 20021year, students from China Mainland came from 22 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) such as Jiangsu, Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Anhui, Chongqing, Guangdong, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Shaanxi, Tianjin, Liaoning, Jilin, Fujian, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jiangxi and Guangxi.

Chapter V Specialty Setting

Fifteenth general liberal arts education is implemented in the undergraduate stage of the school, and freshmen are not divided into majors when they enter school. Students can choose their own major according to their personal interests and specialties in the second year of college. Duke Kunshan University's enrollment major in the "20021Year Enrollment Major and Plan for Colleges and Universities" compiled by the admissions authorities of various provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) is only used for students to voluntarily fill in the college entrance examination.

Approved by the Ministry of Education, the undergraduate majors are: 1, Materials Science and Engineering (Materials Science and Physics); 2. Chapter VI Admission Rules and Selection Procedures

Article 16 Strictly implement the admission system of "the school is responsible for the supervision of enrollment" stipulated by the Ministry of Education, strictly abide by the relevant policies and regulations of the Ministry of Education and the admissions committees of provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions), and select the best candidates on the basis of the results of the college entrance examination (Chinese mainland) and the independent evaluation of the school, in line with the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness.

Seventeenth schools to take a comprehensive evaluation of admission in Chinese mainland. Students are selected in turn according to the applicant's college entrance examination scores (weight 50%), independent comprehensive evaluation of the school (weight 40%, including comprehensive evaluation of general application and supplementary materials, and the applicant's online English test scores at Cambridge University) and high school academic level test scores (weight 10%). If the province (municipality directly under the central government or autonomous region) where the students are located does not have a unified high school proficiency test in the whole province (municipality directly under the central government or autonomous region), or if the scores of the high school proficiency test are divided into qualified and unqualified, the weight of the independent comprehensive evaluation of the school shall be calculated at 50%.

1, college entrance examination scores: students' college entrance examination scores must reach a batch of admission control scores of undergraduate students in their provinces (municipalities directly under the central government and autonomous regions) (the first and second batches of undergraduate students are merged into a special type of admission control score line or a line). The conversion method is based on the college entrance examination score of 50 points and a batch of undergraduate admission control scores (or special types of admission control scores/lines) of 30 points, and linear conversion is carried out in this interval.

2. Independent comprehensive evaluation of the school: including the comprehensive evaluation of the application materials and the results of the online Linguaskill conducted by the applicant.

3. High School Proficiency Test: If the scores of the high school proficiency test in the province (municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region) where the students are located are presented by grade, they will be converted by grade according to the subjects of the province (municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous region), with full marks of 10 and all A's of 10. If B, C and D appear, points will be deducted according to grades and the number of courses.

Article 18 Our school will select the best candidates in all provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) according to the comprehensive evaluation results calculated by the above methods. If the comprehensive evaluation results are the same, our school will select the best candidates according to the college entrance examination scores (excluding policy scores), the total scores of three foreign languages and the foreign language scores in turn.

Article 19 Admission batch: the general admission batch of our school (including the comprehensive evaluation batch of Shandong Province and the special enrollment batch of Guangdong Province). Our school will sign an agreement with the selected candidates in Jiangsu to confirm whether to fill in our comprehensive evaluation enrollment volunteers, and report the confirmed candidates list to Jiangsu Education Examinations Institute. Candidates to be admitted will complete the admission before the undergraduate course is approved in advance and will not participate in any other batch of admission. After the admission is completed, applicants should collect information such as volunteers according to the relevant requirements of their provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions).

Article 20 According to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, our school reserved a plan to adjust the imbalance of students on the unified examination line and solve the admission problem of candidates with the same score.

Article 21 All undergraduate majors in our school are taught in English. Non-English language candidates should apply carefully.

Article 22 In accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas Chinese students shall be enrolled in the mode of "comprehensive evaluation+Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan joint examination/Taiwan Province Province regional academic ability test", and the admission method shall be implemented according to the relevant provisions of the Joint Admissions Office and the relevant enrollment brochures of the school.

Twenty-third independent review and selection procedures

A.Slate application for admission: applicants should submit their application for admission and scanned written materials through Slate system before 23:00 on February 8, 2002165438, and send letters of recommendation to China Admissions Office. B. Material review: the school organizes the review and evaluation of the application materials, and informs the applicant of the results of the first and second rounds of preliminary review and evaluation in mid-February and mid-March of 20021and whether they are invited to participate in Linguaskill.

C.Linguaskill: applicants who pass the preliminary examination must complete the online Lingua skill test in March-April, and the China Admissions Office of Duke University in Kunshan will convert the results of the Lingua skill test into independent comprehensive evaluation results.

Chapter VII Admission Physical Examination Standards

Article 24 The physical examination standards for school admission candidates shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities (J.Z. Chapter VIII Charging Standards

Article 26 According to state regulations, students must pay tuition, accommodation, books and other miscellaneous fees. The specific standards and measures shall be approved or put on record by the price department of Jiangsu Province. According to the reply of Jiangsu Provincial Price Bureau, the tuition standard for freshmen enrolled in 20021year is 170000 yuan/student/year.

Chapter IX Student Financial Aid Policy

Twenty-seventh schools according to the independent comprehensive evaluation and college entrance examination results, grant different amounts of scholarships to eligible applicants, and determine different amounts of scholarships according to the applicant's family economic situation. The specific rules and implementation measures shall be implemented by the school scholarship Committee according to the students' academic performance, personal situation and the specific provisions of the school scholarship.

Article 30 According to the Regulations of the Ministry of Education on the Management of Students in Ordinary Colleges and Universities, the school will conduct a comprehensive review of new students within three months after they enter the school, and those who pass the review will be registered and obtained official status. If there are problems in the review, the school will deal with them in accordance with the relevant national policies and regulations on student status management until their admission qualification is cancelled. Anyone who is found to be fraudulent will be disqualified or returned to the original domicile.

Article 31 Candidates, examination staff and other social personnel shall handle all kinds of violations in the college entrance examination (assessment) organized by the school in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations and the Interim Measures for Handling Violations in Enrollment of Colleges and Universities.

Article 32 If any school staff has dereliction of duty, violation of rules, discipline or law in the enrollment work, the school supervision department shall, after investigation and verification with the enrollment department of the school, deal with it in accordance with the Interim Measures for Handling the Irregularities in Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities, the Provisions on Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities and other relevant provisions; Anyone suspected of committing a crime will be investigated for criminal responsibility by judicial organs.

Chapter II XI Supplementary Provisions

Article 33 The Articles of Association shall come into force as of the date of promulgation. The articles of association shall be interpreted by the school enrollment leading group or its authorized department. In case of any inconsistency between the Articles of Association and the provisions of the state and the enrollment provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions), the provisions of the state and the enrollment provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions) shall prevail.
