In criminal cases, three procedures have been paid and one procedure has been used. Can the agency contract be terminated?
It depends on how the agency contract is stipulated. Generally speaking, when a case ends at the stage of public security investigation, there is no follow-up procedure, and the agency relationship naturally terminates. As far as the contract is concerned, both parties can terminate the contract through consultation. In addition, most entrustment contracts for criminal cases will clearly stipulate the authorization and fees at each stage. Because a criminal case, lawyers and clients are not sure how many procedures the case will go through, so when entrusting and charging, some will be collected in stages, and some will be packaged in three stages. At the same time, the price of the third phase is definitely favorable. Of course, if the package is entrusted and the fee is charged in three stages, the case will only go through one or two processes, and the contract will generally stipulate that the corresponding fee will not be refunded.
