Public prosecution of Hejiang water pollution incident in Guangxi

The case was heard in Babu District Court, Hezhou City, Guangxi on1October1312065438. During the trial, the public prosecution agency accused the defendant Huang Qiang of taking advantage of his position to accept cash, cigarettes, alcohol and other gifts of 50,000 yuan from Zhao in May 20 13. In the name of the superior leaders, Mo Sijian, director of Pinggui Branch of Hezhou Environmental Protection Bureau, was invited to have dinner with Zhao. As a result, Mo Sijian issued a sewage permit to the enterprise on June 23rd, 20th/Kloc-0th/3rd, when the comprehensive concentrator in Hezhou City was not rectified and did not meet the requirements for obtaining a sewage permit. After the Hejiang water pollution incident, the expert group determined that there was a direct causal relationship between illegal sewage discharge from indium production line of Wei Hui Comprehensive Concentrator in Hezhou City and Hejiang water pollution incident, which was the main responsible pollution source of this water pollution incident.

It was also found out that the defendant Huang Qiang arranged a working group to help coordinate the land acquisition, demolition and settlement of group contradictions and disputes of Hegu Road, Guidong Electronic Science Park Road and Da Gui West Lake real estate development under the jurisdiction of huang tian zhen during his tenure as Party Secretary of huang tian zhen, Pinggui Management District, Hezhou City, and received RMB 24,000 from developers, construction representatives and others before the Spring Festival of 20 12 and the Mid-Autumn Festival of the same year respectively.

The public prosecution agency believes that the defendant Huang Qiang, as a national staff member, took advantage of his position to illegally accept other people's property and seek benefits for others, and his behavior has violated the relevant provisions of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), so he should be investigated for criminal responsibility for accepting bribes.

The case is under further investigation and the court will decide on another day.
