The range of sentence reduction shall be strictly controlled in accordance with Article 6 of these Provisions. One reduction shall not exceed one year of fixed-term imprisonment, and the interval between two reductions shall be one year. For criminals who have been sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than ten years in accordance with the preceding paragraph, as well as criminals who have been sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than ten years for intentional homicide, rape, robbery, kidnapping, arson, explosion, placing dangerous substances, organized violent crimes, and Criminals who have been sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of more than ten years for the above two or more crimes may have their sentences commuted after serving more than two years. The extent of the sentence reduction shall be strictly controlled in accordance with Article 6 of these regulations. Criminals who have made major meritorious services are not subject to the above restrictions on the starting time and interval of commutation.
