Generally speaking, Hong Kong residents entrust mainland lawyers with the following operation plans:

1. The power of attorney issued or entrusted from Hong Kong shall be notarized and authenticated. Hong Kong lawyers entrusted by the Ministry of Justice after examination are entrusted notaries, and relevant notarial documents are issued, which are reviewed and transmitted by China Legal Service (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. established by the Ministry of Justice in Hong Kong.

2. If a Hongkong person signs a power of attorney in People's Republic of China (PRC) and entrusts an agent to conduct a civil lawsuit, it will be recognized by the people's court after being notarized by a notary office in People's Republic of China (PRC).

3. If Hong Kong people sign a power of attorney before a judge of the people's court and entrust an agent to conduct civil litigation, the people's court will recognize it. If the party concerned is a natural person and holds a passport and other documents that can prove his identity, and the party concerned is an enterprise or organization, the person who has the right to participate in the litigation on behalf of the enterprise or organization may sign a power of attorney before the judge with notarized and certified materials that meet the requirements of Article 523 of the Judicial Interpretation of the Civil Procedure Law.
