Understanding of legal aid obligation 2022-0 1-2 1

The District Lawyers Association arranged for me to be on duty at the Legal Aid Center of the Justice Department. Indeed, many people come here to consult, many of them are regular customers, and many of them come here again and again to consult. In fact, many of them are here to take the lawyer exam. A lot of information is in front of you. Look, please give a correct plan. Sometimes it seems to be a waste of resources, but this kind of work to solve problems for the government should be actively completed and make its own contribution.

I am a person who can solve intractable diseases.

As soon as I arrived at the duty hall in the morning, I saw several staff members around a 60-year-old male client explaining. It turned out that he wanted to ask a lawyer to help him write a complaint. The staff thought that he did not meet the requirements of legal aid, and the lawyer could only provide consultation, but could not provide free paperwork, so he explained it here for half an hour.

When I arrived, I said to sit here and help you look at the case file and see if I can help you solve it. Sit down and have a look. It turned out to be the labor relations confirmation from 1977 to 1996, and it was found that the salary standard after retirement was twice as different. So he filed a labor arbitration to determine the labor relations during this period. The courts of first and second instance dismissed the prosecution on the grounds that the statute of limitations had expired. He still refused to accept the appeal, so he asked for legal aid to help him write a complaint.

After understanding the situation, I spent half an hour to understand his information and his needs, and then spent another half an hour to help him draft a brief complaint, so I sent him an electronic version and told him that he could print it out and hand it over to the High Court. But at the same time, I also told him that it was difficult to appeal this case successfully because the time was really long. This is a legacy of history. Fifty years later, it is too difficult for us to help him deal with the labor relations fifty years ago.

But he was unwilling, saying that he was in poor health and had nothing to do, so it was a big deal and he was sure to do it. But I also told him that it is not easy for us young people, which increases everyone's workload and is also tangled. After I asked to write to him, I don't have to come here again, just give it to the High Court. There is no need to argue every day because I am poor and naturally take care of by the government.

He went back with my written complaint, at least not for the time being.
